Learn & Master Guitar Review:

I ordered Learn & Master Guitar and it arrived in about 3 days. I was impressed with this product before I even popped in the first DVD. This product was very professionally packaged and you can tell a lot of time and money was spent developing it.

They really did a nice job with this. I have been playing guitar for 12 years and I have never seen a product quite like this. It is the most complete video instruction course for guitar I have seen available anywhere.

The product consists of 20 DVDs, five Jam-Along CDs, a 100+ page lesson book, and a bunch of web-based supplemental material. This product covers a wide range of playing styles. You can learn, acoustic, rock, classical and fingerstyle, blues, jazz, country, R&B, and funk.

I love the DVD'S it's very cool to be able to learn at your own pace and the assignments are really easy to follow. Playing along with the Jam-Along CDs is a blast and it's one of many things I really like about this product. There are "active" tracks that enable you to play the tracks with the lead guitar track turned on, off, or at partial volume.

I really like turning the lead guitar track off and then practicing my solos with the band on the Jam Tracks. I should mention that the band used for the Jam Tracks is amazing! They spared no expense here on hiring pro players. The tracks for beginner songs enable playing each song at slow, medium or fast pace and this is very helpful if you haven't been playing long.

The DVDs are the best I've seen from any program. The 10 DVDs contain numerous tracks covering over 20 sessions (that's about 20 hours of content) that teach just about any subject you can think of related to playing guitar. 

Learn & Master Guitar should be the only instructional package you'll need for learning the guitar. It will at least get you headed in the right direction. In my opinion Learn & Master Guitar is the Cadillac of all guitar training products. If you really want to learn to play the guitar there just isn't a better product available.

The only down side I found about Learn & Master Guitar is that it is pretty expensive when compared to other guitar training products.

Here are the major differences between the original version and the newly expanded version:

What's the same?  Everything that was included in the original version is also included in the expanded version.  The same binder, the same lesson book, the same Jam-Along CDs, even the same 10 original DVDs.

What's new?  They have added 10 more DVDs.  They include additional songs, exercises, and workshops for each of the original 20 sessions that were included with the original version.  Steve Krenz goes into more detail on each session's material and offers additional tips and tricks, and adds plenty of personal encouragement.  They have also included a "You're Ready To Move On When..." segment for each session so that you'll know when you have the skills you need to proceed to the next part of the course.

How does it cost?  The new expanded version has been priced only $50 higher than the original version.  That's only $5 per DVD and twice as much content.
